Welcome to our online furniture showroom, where our furniture is created using 100% reclaimed materials, sourced here in Nottingham and its surrounding areas.
We all like to have something different in life and here at Brown Dog that’s exactly what we give you; our furniture is both unique and individual. Reclaimed timber is timeless and full of history.
Once you take delivery of your Brown Dog furniture its time to add your own history to the timber; its time to start your Brown Dog journey.
Reclaimed timber and its origins
Reclaimed timber is as individual as you. The timber takes on its characteristics from its surroundings. For example take a roof beam which has been removed from an old Victorian terrace here in Nottingham, It has spent the last hundred years being peppered in soot from a leaky chimney. This soot staines the timber and gives it its patina. Along with this patina you will get nail holes, cracks, nuts and bolts, saw marks and even the odd cast iron nail or two. We will try our hardest to match the images on our website but there may be variations in colour and texture in your own furniture, making your furniture unique to you.
Finish Sample Boards
Our furniture comes in two standard finishes, natural and oak wax. If you require a sample before you make your purchase then drop us a line and we will post one out to you. Alternatively pop into the store for a free sample. All of the furniture can be finished to your own colour if required, just use the contact form below to get in touch.

Furniture Delivery
Delivery and assembly within 25 miles of the store is completely free of charge, 25 to 50 miles from the store is £40 and 50 to 100 miles is £80. Having made your purchase you will be contacted to finalise delivery costs. If you would like a delivery further afield then please use the contact form below. The time scale for your furniture delivery is approximately six weeks from ordering as all of our furniture is handmade for you specific order.
Accessories Delivery
The postage and packaging for all accessories is included in the cost shown on the product page. The time scale for accessories from order to postage , if in stock, is one week.

You may ask! We are a locally based company manufacturing bespoke timber furniture here in Nottingham. Unique? Indeed we are. We use 100 % reclaimed timber in our furniture sourced locally around Nottinghamshire.
